Greetings! On behalf of Luverne administration and the entire faculty and staff, thank you for allowing us to continue the rich tradition, that is Luverne School. Be a Champion and Read Contest

The 5th annual Be A Champion and Read contest is sponsored by the Alabama Education Association for Kindergarten- 6th grade students in Alabama. The goal of the program is to get students and parents excited about reading. All K-6 students who read six books qualify to win a trip to the Iron Bowl with two guests, sideline passes, and pre-game activities. There will be 2 Grand prize winners in the state contest, one for Alabama and one for Auburn. Students who participated received a certificate, bookmark and an ice cream party. They were also entered in a drawing for prizes. This year, we had 34 students participate. Winners were: Alabama: Kyran Moneyham, Katelyn Sasser, Ashley McKenzie, Dre'Von Phiffer Auburn: Brooke Horn, Cannon Albritton Grand Prize winners were: Alabama: Alayna Cleland Auburn: Kailee Williams

"I'll Drink to That" Campaign 2017

Crenshaw County Schools has partnered with the Luverne Pepsi Bottling Company to do something wonderful for our troops. Please help us by purchasing a case of bottled water through the school. The cost is $5.00, which will purchase a case of 16.9 oz. Aquafina Water. You can pay at the school or send the money to the school by Friday, November 17th. Please do not send cases of water to the schools. All students grades k4-12 will write thank you notes, letters and color pictures for our troops. TOGETHER WE CAN TOAST THE TROOPS FOR THEIR SACRIFICES AND EFFORTS TO PROTECT OUR GREAT COUNTRY AND WAY OF LIFE. Please watch our official kick off video at the following link:
